Dubai’s ENOC Group has achieved a regional first by providing specialized First Aid for Mental Health (FA4MH) training to 78 of its employees, reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to employee well-being and aligning with the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033. As the first entity in the energy sector to offer this kind of training, ENOC is setting new standards for workplace health and safety in the UAE.
The training program, led by Kes Smith-Green of KSG WELLNESS COACHING & TRAINING LTD, focuses on equipping participants with the skills to handle mental health challenges in the workplace. This training, which results in a U.K. Level 2 qualification regulated by Ofqual, spanned five days and involved ENOC Retail executives. It integrates the latest findings from academic research to ensure practical, relevant strategies for identifying and responding to mental health issues.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, highlighted the importance of employee well-being, saying, “We strongly believe that our employees are our greatest asset, and their wellbeing is fundamental to our success as a global integrated energy provider. At ENOC, we are dedicated to creating a workplace where mental health is prioritised and supported, aligning with Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, and our goal of raising awareness on making the workplace safe and healthy as well as fostering a culture of empathy and understanding within our Group.”
In addition to its focus on mental health, ENOC Group is committed to broader social, health, and economic development initiatives that enhance community welfare. As part of the program, a recognition ceremony was held to honour the employees’ dedication to promoting mental health and fostering a supportive work environment.
Through these initiatives, ENOC Group continues to be a leader in mental health awareness, ensuring employees have the resources and support they need to maintain a balanced and healthy working life.
