AD Ports Group has completed its largest restructuring by integrating Noatum Group, a global logistics provider with operations in 32 countries and 16 terminals across Spain. This move supports its international growth strategy while capitalising on Noatum’s brand equity.
The restructuring incorporates Noatum’s Spanish headquarters into AD Ports Group’s business verticals. The Maritime division has been integrated into SAFEEN Group, now rebranded as Noatum Maritime. Additionally, Noatum Terminals has formed the new Noatum Ports, overseeing current and future global port operations. Noatum Logistics assumed control of AD Ports Group’s Logistics Cluster in July 2023.
The Group now operates 33 terminals across more than 50 countries, achieving efficiencies and synergies through cross-selling, product innovation, and expansion into new markets. These enhancements further establish its leadership in maritime and logistics services.
Recent acquisitions include Noatum for AED 2.65B (USD 720M) and Global Feeder Shipping for AED 1.9B (USD 510M), nearly tripling revenue since 2021. Investments in Egypt, Central Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa have boosted its global standing, securing it a place among the world’s top 20 container port operators in Drewry International’s rankings and 40th in Lloyd’s List Top 100.
Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Group CEO and Managing Director, said: “The integration of Noatum is a key milestone, expanding our horizons and positioning AD Ports Group for the next phase of growth. Unlocking synergies will ensure our leadership in global markets.”
