The UAE has expressed its approval of the recent UN announcement regarding an agreement between Yemeni parties concerning airlines and the banking sector.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) described the agreement as a significant step towards a political resolution in Yemen, aiming to fulfill the aspirations of its people for security, development, and stability. MoFA praised the efforts of the UN and its special envoy, Hans Grundberg, in striving for a comprehensive and enduring solution to the crisis, which would bolster peace and stability in Yemen and the surrounding region.
The ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to supporting all regional and international efforts aimed at stabilizing Yemen and reiterated its commitment to standing by the Yemeni people, supporting their aspirations for development and prosperity.
