RTA Finalises Construction of 10 Truck Rest Stops

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed 10 out of 16 Truck Rest Stops in collaboration with ADNOC. These facilities are strategically located along six key roads, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road. They cover over 75,000 square metres and can accommodate more than 5,000 trucks with 700 parking slots. Each rest area spans 5,000 to 10,000 square metres and includes amenities like service facilities, prayer rooms, diesel refuelling stations, and rest rooms for drivers.

Borouge Plc, a leading petrochemicals company offering innovative polyolefins solutions, has announced plans to accelerate its growth in Asia through a strategic consortium. The consortium, which includes Borouge, ADNOC, and Borealis, has signed a Project Collaboration Agreement (PCA) with Wanhua Chemical and its subsidiary Wanrong New Materials (Fujian) in China.
