Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), hosting over 30,000 companies from 100+ countries, has partnered with the Department of Economic Development (DED) to enhance business services in the emirate. The collaboration aims to streamline offerings such as corporate bank account setup, tax filing, and accounting services for RAKEZ’s clients.
This partnership equips businesses with tools to optimise operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
Dr Abdulrahman Al Shayeb Al Naqbi, General Manager of RAK DED, noted the collaboration strengthens investment opportunities by enhancing ease of doing business through streamlined services. Guided by Ras Al Khaimah’s vision, DED aims to promote sustainable economic development by adopting global best practices.
RAKEZ offers comprehensive business solutions, including free zone and non-free zone licences, customisable facilities, and one-stop-shop services. It also features specialised zones, such as Al Nakheel and Al Hamra Business Zones for commercial enterprises, industrial zones for manufacturers, and an Academic Zone for educational institutions.
