Falcon has announced a $100 million investment to upgrade its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at Al Maktoum International Airport. Located at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, the 13,705 sq. m. facility features cutting-edge technology designed to service various aircraft, including the Airbus A380.
In 2024, the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) granted Falcon CAR 145 certification, allowing the company to launch its MRO operations in the country. Moreover, Falcon secured a GCAA CAR PART V Chapter 3 (CAR 145) certificate, officially recognizing it as an Approved Maintenance Organisation. Consequently, the company is now authorized to maintain aircraft such as Bombardier Challenger and Embraer models.

As Al Maktoum International Airport continues its rapid transformation, Falcon is align its growth plans with the airport’s expansion. By 2030, the airport is expected to accommodate up to 260 million passengers, making it the world’s busiest aviation hub. To support this growth, Falcon will further enhance its MRO facility and introduce a new private jet terminal.
