ADNEC Group has partnered with Tawazun Council to host the largest editions of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) in 2025. Scheduled from 17th to 21st February at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, the events will be held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the UAE’s position as a global leader in the defence, security, and advanced technology sectors. It aims to create a platform for decision-makers, industry leaders, and experts to present cutting-edge innovations in defence and security.
Saeed Al Mansoori, Advisor for Defence Exhibitions at ADNEC Group, emphasised the importance of this partnership, highlighting plans for record participation in 2025. He noted the events would bring together global leaders to drive innovation and foster the UAE’s sustainable economic growth.
Mona Ahmed Al Jabber, Chief Corporate Communication Officer at Tawazun Council, described IDEX and NAVDEX as pivotal milestones in the global defence exhibition landscape. She praised their ability to attract international attention, showcasing advancements in defence and technology while strengthening the UAE’s role as a global MICE hub.
The 2025 events will feature innovative programmes such as IDEX Next-Gen for start-ups and IDEX Think Tank for addressing global challenges. They will also host IDEX and NAVDEX Dialogues to explore future-focused defence technologies.
The 2023 editions drew over 132,500 participants, hosted 41 pavilions, and included 1,353 exhibitors from 65 countries, setting a high benchmark for the upcoming events.
