The COP28 Catering Team, in collaboration with Nutritics, assists food and beverage vendors by providing access to its platform for calculating the carbon and water intensity of menu items. Caterers are urged to ensure that at least 50% of served food falls within sustainable limits for carbon and water intensity, aligning with UAE guidelines on macronutrients.
