Major US stock benchmarks finished Monday’s trading session in positive territory, supported by continued investor confidence.
The S&P 500 added 20.19 points, representing a gain of 0.27 per cent, to settle at 7,600.03.
The Nasdaq Composite climbed 114.75 points, or 0.43 per cent, ending the day at 27,087.37, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 44.70 points, equivalent to 0.09 per cent, to close at 51,076.85.
