The UAE’s Cyber Security Council (CSC) issued a strong warning on Thursday, urging residents to update their Google Chrome browsers immediately. This critical update addresses dangerous security flaws that hackers could exploit to steal data, install malware, or harm your device.
In a social media post (platform not specified), the CSC called it a “critical security update” from Google Chrome. These vulnerabilities, if left unaddressed, could leave users’ systems exposed.
“Cybercriminals could potentially steal your data, install malware, or launch other malicious attacks,” the CSC explained. “This update includes six security fixes that address these critical issues.”
To stay safe, the CSC recommends updating Google Chrome to the latest version on all your devices. They also advise sharing this information with anyone who uses Chrome, including colleagues and business partners.
