The UAE has launched the Business Opportunities Visa, a specialized permit designed for entrepreneurs, investors, and skilled professionals. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) introduced this initiative to boost international investment and business development.
Key Features of the Business Opportunities Visa
The visa allows applicants to visit the UAE for single or multiple trips, provided their total stay does not exceed 180 days. It offers flexibility for business owners exploring opportunities in the country.
To qualify, applicants must meet these conditions:
- Be a qualified professional in their field.
- Hold a passport valid for at least six months.
- Have health insurance coverage in the UAE.
- Possess a confirmed onward ticket or proof of departure.
Strengthening the UAE’s Business Ecosystem
Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the ICP, highlighted that the UAE provides world-class infrastructure, strong legal frameworks, and advanced logistics to support business success. He emphasized that the visa will attract entrepreneurs and investors looking to establish innovative projects.
The visa is available with validity options of 60, 90, or 120 days, ensuring a flexible stay. This initiative aligns with the UAE’s goal to enhance its global business appeal and drive economic growth.
