The UAE and Serbia have taken a significant step toward deepening their strategic partnership following a high-level meeting between the two heads of state in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić at Qasr Al Watan. During their discussions, the leaders explored ways to enhance cooperation across several key sectors, including investment, the economy, renewable energy, food security, and broader development goals.
Dialogue Focused on Regional Peace and Economic Growth
Both presidents also shared their perspectives on pressing regional and international issues. They underscored the importance of ongoing dialogue, diplomacy, and collaborative efforts to restore peace and stability in the Middle East.
Their meeting highlighted the mutual intent to foster sustainable growth through joint initiatives. This commitment builds on the momentum of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which officially came into force last month, opening new avenues for bilateral trade and cooperation.
By aligning their economic and diplomatic efforts, the UAE and Serbia aim to strengthen ties that contribute to stability, innovation, and prosperity on a global scale.
