The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) have entered into an agreement to share expertise and boost cooperation in areas such as supply chain development, human resources, nuclear consultancy services, and future investments.
This is the first agreement of its kind between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of India in the nuclear industry. It signifies a major step in reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two nations and advancing their efforts to lower the carbon footprint of the energy sector.
The agreement was signed in New Delhi by Mohamed Al Hammadi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ENEC, and Bhuwan Chandra Pathak, Chairman and Managing Director of NPCIL.
