The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has introduced its 2025-2027 strategy to strengthen business sustainability, economic growth, and global competitiveness. The plan aims to anticipate market trends, support entrepreneurs, and solidify Sharjah’s role as a key business hub.
During SCCI’s second periodic board meeting of 2025, Chairman Abdallah Sultan Al Owais led discussions on initiatives to improve the emirate’s economic landscape. The meeting was attended by key officials, including Sheikh Majid Faisal Khalid Al Qasemi, Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, and other senior representatives.
Boosting Business and Investments
The strategy supports businesses in commercial, industrial, agricultural, and digital sectors. It focuses on providing top-quality services, expanding local enterprises internationally, and creating new trade opportunities.
A key part of the plan is promoting sustainability, both economically and environmentally. The SCCI will support investment-driven projects that strengthen Sharjah’s economy. It also aims to build strong global partnerships, optimize supply chains, and attract high-value investments.
The Chamber is advancing digital transformation to help businesses benefit from modern technology. It also seeks to improve institutional efficiency and workforce skills, creating a strong business environment that encourages long-term growth.
Strengthening Local and Global Partnerships
The SCCI’s trade missions to Uganda and Kenya have expanded investment opportunities for its members. The Chamber has also hosted meetings with diplomatic and trade delegations to form new international partnerships and boost private sector competitiveness.
Locally, the Chamber remains dedicated to economic initiatives such as the Sharjah Ramadan Festival. This event attracts many shoppers, boosting retail sales and market activity across the emirate.
Sharjah Chamber’s strategy focuses on fostering entrepreneurship, strengthening investment networks, and ensuring Sharjah remains a top business destination. By embracing innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation, the SCCI aims to drive economic growth and long-term success.
