The Roads and Transport Authority RTA warned motorists about expected traffic delays on key roads across Dubai during the UAE Tour 2023 cycling race, which is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, February 23.
The event will take place between 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm, and RTA has advised drivers to start their journey early and use alternative routes to reach their destinations to avoid delays.
The international cycling event will feature many of the world’s top riders competing in a race across the UAE from February 20 to February 26. It covers over 1028 kilometers across seven stages, with a significant elevation gain of 3500m, mostly concentrated in Stages 3 and 7.
