Sharjah Police (SP), in collaboration with Rafid Automotive Solutions, has launched an innovative service enabling vehicle renewal and inspection remotely through a smart application.
This new service has been developed by Sharjah Police to simplify the technical inspection and renewal procedures, saving users time while improving service efficiency and quality.
The initiative caters specifically to private vehicles registered in Sharjah, provided they are under 8 years old and have passed a technical inspection within the last 18 months.
Through the Rafid app, users can access the “Remote Inspection” feature, follow a series of steps, and upload clear images of their vehicles, ensuring they are accident-free and eliminating the need for visits to traditional inspection centres.
Colonel Khalid Mohammed Al Kai, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, highlighted that this service aligns with the emirate’s digital transformation goals, aimed at enhancing quality of life through swift and efficient government services.
Ahmed Juma Al Musharrekh, CEO of Rafid, remarked that this initiative reflects the company’s commitment to offering innovative and modern solutions, representing significant progress in advancing the vehicle sector and delivering faster, more convenient services to the community.
