As Dubai’s Ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, and Prime Minister, has issued Decree No. (14) of 2024, appointing new members to The Executive Council of Dubai (TEC) led by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
Simultaneously, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed issued Decree No. (15) of 2024, outlining the new members of The Strategic Affairs Council of TEC, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
Effective immediately, these Decrees will be officially published in the Official Gazette.
Decree No. (14) of 2024 designates H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; and H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, as Deputy Chairmen of TEC.
Under Decree No. (15) of 2024, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Chairman of TEC; and H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Deputy Chairman of TEC, will serve as Deputy Chairmen of The Strategic Affairs Council.
Decree No. (14) of 2024 specifies TEC members, including H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and officials from Dubai Culture, Dubai Police, Department of Finance, and other key entities. This decree revokes several earlier decrees related to TEC appointments.
Decree No. (15) of 2024 lists members of The Strategic Affairs Council, including officials from TEC, His Highness the Ruler’s Court, Department of Finance, Dubai Police, RTA, Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Municipality, Department of Economy and Tourism, and Dubai Health Authority, according to WAM.
