The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has introduced the “Digital Consultation” initiative as part of its continuous efforts to implement the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, an initiative created by the UAE government to improve living standards and cultivate an environment conducive to business and attracting talent.
The initiative aims to increase customer participation in the decision-making process and the adoption of innovative ideas to streamline government procedures. To support this goal, the Ministry has launched the “Zero Bureaucracy” questionnaire, inviting feedback from all customer groups to assist in designing and developing its services.
Younis Haji Al Khoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, stated, “The new Digital Consultation initiative will bolster the Ministry’s efforts to understand the needs of customers and collect their feedback on their transaction experiences.”
“Through this initiative, we aim to forge a genuine partnership with our customers, in alignment with the UAE’s vision of becoming a global leader in digital government services. By realising the objectives of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, this initiative puts national indicators into practice, supporting the ‘We UAE 2031’ vision and making a significant contribution to the goals of ‘UAE Centennial 2071’.”
He stressed that customer participation in these initiatives is essential for producing positive outcomes that will benefit the entire community, leading to a sustainable future characterised by adaptable and efficient services.
The “Zero Bureaucracy” questionnaire focuses on three key areas: assessing customers’ experiences with the Ministry of Finance’s current procedures, identifying services that customers find complicated and in need of enhancement, and gathering ideas and suggestions that could greatly improve the ministry’s efforts to reduce bureaucracy.
