IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a management agreement with API Hotels & Resorts to introduce the Kimpton brand to the UAE for the first time.
Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026, Kimpton Dubai will mark the brand’s debut in the emirate and further strengthen IHG’s regional growth, which now includes over 122 properties and nearly 44,000 rooms across nine Middle Eastern nations.
Renowned for its unique design and experiential hospitality, Kimpton has built a notable global footprint spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Kimpton Dubai’s arrival in the UAE The brand’s launch in the UAE aligns with increasing interest in boutique, experience-driven stays within the region’s upscale hospitality sector.
Situated along the Business Bay Canal and within close proximity to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, Kimpton Dubai will offer 280 rooms, including both standard options and suites, along with three distinct dining venues and seven adaptable meeting areas, including a ballroom.
Placing a strong focus on wellness and relaxation, the hotel will also feature a rooftop pool, spa, fitness centre, curated retail spaces, and extensive parking facilities.
This opening will be the second joint venture between IHG and API Hotels & Resorts, following the launch of InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay in September 2024.
Previously, IHG also signed an agreement with The King Abdullah Financial District Management and Development Company—part of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund—to bring the Kimpton brand to Riyadh, marking its debut in the Kingdom.
