Emirates has reinforced its commitment to operational excellence and safety in fleet management by signing an agreement with Airbus. This partnership will see the airline implement Airbus’s Skywise Fleet Performance+ (S.FP+) advanced predictive maintenance and fleet health monitoring system, along with the Core X3 analytics platform.
Ahmed Safa, Head of Emirates Engineering, and Laurent Negre, Vice President of Customer Services for Airbus Africa and the Middle East, formalised the agreement.
By adopting Airbus’s state-of-the-art S.FP+ solution, Emirates aims to enhance aircraft dispatch reliability while leveraging data-driven insights to optimise the performance of its Airbus A380 and A350 fleet.
The platform’s sophisticated capabilities will allow Emirates Engineering teams to track real-time aircraft health and performance data, detect potential issues mid-flight, and plan necessary maintenance interventions during turnarounds.
Ahmed Safa, Head of Emirates Engineering, stated, “As an efficient and customer-focused airline, Emirates continually seeks innovative technologies that enhance operational reliability, reduce unexpected disruptions, and uphold the highest fleet standards. Integrating Airbus’s Skywise Fleet Performance+ will elevate our Airbus fleet management, modernising maintenance activities into precise, streamlined processes that maximise our operational efficiency.”
