As Ramadan nears its end, the UAE is making final preparations for Eid Al Fitr, one of the most important occasions in the Islamic calendar. To mark the beginning of the festivities, mosques and open prayer grounds across the country will host early morning prayers.
On Saturday evening, the UAE’s moon-sighting committee will gather after Maghrib prayers to determine the sighting of the Shawwal crescent. If the crescent appears, Eid will begin on Sunday, March 30. Otherwise, it will take place on Monday, March 31, 2025.

The following prayer timings apply to both potential Eid dates:
- Abu Dhabi – 6:22 AM
- Al Ain – 6:23 AM

Ensuring a Smooth Prayer Experience
To accommodate the large number of worshippers, authorities in all seven emirates have arranged additional prayer spaces. They have also taken measures to manage traffic flow and provide easy access to prayer areas.
Eid Al Fitr not only signifies the end of Ramadan but also strengthens community bonds. Worshippers are encouraged to arrive early, follow local guidelines, and make the most of this special occasion with their families.
