The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has revealed that 33 government entities within Dubai have put forward 79 project proposals during the third phase of the Dubai 10X initiative.
Launched by His Highness H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Dubai Future Foundation, the Dubai 10X program aims to enhance government services and promote a change in mindset among public sector employees. This endeavour aligns with Dubai’s aspirations to become the most forward-looking city globally.
The Dubai 10X initiative seeks to foster collaboration and facilitate the exchange of experiences, with some of the most recent projects resulting from joint efforts involving up to 11 different entities. Among all the participants, the Dubai Municipality engaged in the highest number of projects, taking part in 16 initiatives.
During the third phase of Dubai 10X, the organizers conducted more than 25 workshops. These sessions brought together teams from various government departments to brainstorm, discuss, and formulate ideas and projects in anticipation of future trends, challenges, and opportunities.
The Dubai 10X initiative represents a significant achievement within the government sector, marking a new milestone in the pursuit of a more future-oriented approach, according to WAM.

This initiative has contributed to the development of skills and talents, equipping employees with the tools of the future and encouraging them to contribute to shaping the future of governance.”
The proposals underwent assessment based on specific benchmarks, encompassing their expected results, implementation timeline, capacity to harmonize with other government services, and influence on the quality of life in Dubai. The endorsed initiatives will be disclosed at a subsequent juncture.
Dubai 10X’s Role and Contributions

“These projects were developed by more than 120 government employees from across 33 government entities. Each participant drew on their experiences and skills to co-develop ideas on enhancing government services in sectors including transport, aviation, space, energy, sustainability, infrastructure, economy, trade, finance, health, security, civil defense, community services, and others.”
Initiated in 2017, Dubai 10X has played a pivotal role in advancing numerous significant forthcoming initiatives within Dubai. Several of these undertakings have played a crucial role in introducing inventive governmental services and devising remedies for obstacles. They have significantly propelled Dubai’s status as an international hub for crafting and disseminating innovative governance models.
Moreover, these projects have fostered a culture of interaction among government bodies in Dubai, allowing for the sharing of insights, expertise, resources, and concepts.
