Binghatti Holding has committed to allocating at least 10 percent of its residential units for first-time buyers in Dubai. The move is part of the First-Time Home Buyer (FTHB) Programme, a joint initiative by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) to expand homeownership opportunities across the emirate in 2025.
The programme is open to all UAE residents, including both Emiratis and expatriates, who are purchasing their first freehold residential property priced below AED 5 million.
Binghatti is one of 13 developers selected to support the initiative. It will offer exclusive incentives, including property discounts and reduced administrative service fees, on selected units. These homes will be made available to programme participants before any public sales launches, giving first-time buyers priority access.
Supporting D33 and Sustainable Growth
“We are honoured to be part of this visionary initiative, which aligns perfectly with our mission to expand real estate ownership in Dubai,” said Katralnada BinGhatti, CEO of Binghatti Holding Ltd.
She added, “The financial benefits we are offering under the FTHB Programme aim to make homeownership more attainable for a wider population. By prioritising first-time buyers, we are contributing not only to the growth of the real estate sector but also to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which targets AED 1 trillion in real estate transactions.”
Dubai’s Real Estate Market Sees Strong Momentum
The programme’s launch comes as Dubai’s property market continues to grow. In Q1 2025, the Dubai Land Department reported a 29 percent year-on-year rise in total transaction value, reaching AED 114 billion. Property sales volume climbed 23 percent, while villa and townhouse transactions surged by 65 percent—signalling a shift from renting to owning.
Binghatti’s Expanding Real Estate Footprint
Currently, Binghatti has nearly 20,000 units under development across 30 projects in key residential areas such as Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Jumeirah Village Circle, Al Jaddaf, Dubai Science Park, Dubai Production City, and Sports City.
The company’s high-profile branded residences include collaborations with Bugatti, Mercedes-Benz, and Jacob & Co. These developments have drawn celebrity buyers like football icon Neymar Junior and opera singer Andrea Bocelli.
In May, Binghatti launched the Aquarise Residences in Business Bay, offering over 1,500 units across 232,300 square feet. That same month, the firm also acquired a large freehold plot in Nad Al Sheba 1, within the Meydan district. Spanning over 8 million square feet in gross floor area, the AED 25 billion development will be Binghatti’s first master-planned residential community.
