H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has issued a series of executive decisions appointing new CEOs at the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai.
The appointments reflect the emirate’s ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership and enhance social development initiatives across various sectors, ensuring a progressive and inclusive future for Dubai’s community.
New Leadership Appointments
Under Executive Council Decision No. 103 of 2024, Huraiz Almur Bin Huraiz has been appointed as the CEO of the Regulation and Social Services Sector. This sector is pivotal in overseeing policies, regulations, and services aimed at maintaining the well-being and safety of Dubai’s residents.
In Executive Council Decision No. 104 of 2024, Saeed Ahmed Thani Al Tayer has been named the CEO of the Social Development Sector. This role focuses on creating strategic programs and initiatives to drive social development, improve quality of life, and ensure social inclusivity across Dubai’s communities.
Additionally, Maitha Mohammed Al Shamsi has been appointed as the CEO of the Community Empowerment Sector under Executive Council Decision No. 105 of 2024. This sector prioritises empowering individuals and groups through education, skill development, and community-focused projects.
Effective Immediately
All decisions are effective immediately from the date of issuance and are to be officially published in the Official Gazette. The appointments are expected to accelerate CDA’s goals of fostering social cohesion, empowerment, and development throughout the emirate.
