The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), a leading Dubai-based aerospace platform, has announced a partnership with Liebherr-Aerospace to establish a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility at Dubai South. Scheduled for completion by late 2025, the facility will span a 2,400-square-meter space within MBRAH’s Aerospace Supply Chain cluster.
Commenting on the agreement, Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are pleased to sign this agreement with Liebherr-Aerospace. This partnership underlines our position in attracting the top players in the aviation sector to establish their presence at Dubai South and operate in an integrated economic environment where they can connect with international markets. We will spare no effort in supporting their expansion endeavours, in line with our mandate to solidify and cement Dubai’s position on the world aviation map.”
Liebherr-Aerospace, based in Toulouse, France, is part of the Liebherr Group, which supplies innovative and sustainable aerospace and transport solutions. This facility will add to MBRAH’s reputation as a global destination for leading aerospace companies, airlines, and private jet firms, enhancing Dubai’s connectivity and engineering resources. MBRAH’s free-zone infrastructure also hosts maintenance centers and training facilities, aligning with Dubai’s goal to become a global aviation hub.
The MRO facility is expected to strengthen Dubai South’s infrastructure, providing Liebherr-Aerospace with access to international markets through Dubai’s strategic location.
