Sanctuary, a division of Summit Group, has announced the appointment of Zaid Al Rawi as Managing Director for the Middle East. Based in the United Arab Emirates, Zaid will collaborate with the senior leadership team to drive growth and meet the firm’s strategic goals.
With a 25-year career in financial services, Zaid began his journey in 1999 with Merrill Lynch in London, advising Middle Eastern family offices on investments and structuring. In 2006, he moved to Dubai to serve as Sales Director for Barclays Wealth in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. Since 2013, Zaid has been involved in private equity and real estate, advising GCC investors. His recent roles include Managing Director, MENA for M7 Real Estate, and later Martley Capital, where he continues as an advisor.
Having been involved with Sanctuary in various governance, advisory, and project capacities since its inception in 2019, Zaid expressed his enthusiasm for his new role: “I’m eager to start my new role at Sanctuary. Having collaborated with the team in various capacities over the last five years, I look forward to leveraging my experience to contribute to the company’s growth.
