Reported by Yonhap News Agency, the upcoming establishment of the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA) aligns with President Yoon Suk Yeol’s campaign commitment.
In conjunction with the scheduled launch of KASA, the Ministry of Science and ICT has set an ambitious goal of securing 10 percent of the global spaceflight market by 2045.
In 2022, the Republic of Korea unveiled its spaceflight plans, encompassing initiatives such as landing a spacecraft on the moon by 2032 and on Mars by 2045, according to WAM.
