Sharjah-based developer Arada has appointed Engineering Contracting Co as the main contractor for its W Residences project at Dubai Harbour, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of the branded waterfront development.
The contract, valued at AED1.55 billion, covers the construction of three high-rise residential towers that will collectively house 490 luxury units.
The project forms part of Arada’s broader expansion strategy in Dubai’s premium real estate segment, targeting both regional and international buyers seeking branded living experiences.
Enabling works, including excavation and piling, have already commenced, paving the way for vertical construction.
Once complete, the development will feature a range of upscale amenities, including extensive leisure and wellness facilities, landscaped podium areas and high-end communal spaces designed to reflect the W lifestyle brand.
The residences will be operated in partnership with Marriott International, reinforcing the project’s positioning within the global branded residences market. Designed to meet sustainability benchmarks, the scheme is also targeting LEED Silver certification.
Strategically located, the towers will offer views of Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and Bluewaters Island, placing residents at the heart of one of the city’s most sought-after coastal destinations. The project further strengthens Dubai Harbour’s profile as a premium residential and lifestyle hub.
