Sharjah Finance Department (SFD) has formalised a strategic partnership with Network International, a leading fintech firm in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), as part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen collaborations with top banking and financial institutions. The partnership is set to harness Network International’s advanced digital payment solutions, enhancing the efficiency and adaptability of Sharjah’s government financial ecosystem. This move underscores SFD’s commitment to delivering smart services in line with the Sharjah Government’s vision of leveraging cutting-edge technologies, promoting financial sustainability, and boosting customer confidence.
Under the agreement, Network International will deploy its full suite of payment solutions, including both in-person and online platforms, alongside a range of value-added services, to support SFD’s mission to further Sharjah’s digital financial landscape.
The signing ceremony was held at SFD headquarters in Sharjah, attended by senior officials and employees from both organisations. The agreement was signed by Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah Finance Department, and Murat Cagri Suzer, Group Chief Executive Officer of Network International.
Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi highlighted that the partnership aligns with SFD’s strategic focus on creating a modern financial environment in Sharjah, driven by innovation and cutting-edge digital payment and collection solutions. He noted that this initiative would open new avenues to enhance operational efficiency and offer customers greater flexibility and convenience.
