The UAE weather department has issued two yellow alerts today, warning the public about potential hazards. One alert cautions about dust, sand, and wind, predicting a drop in horizontal visibility to less than 3000 meters in some northern and eastern areas. This alert is in effect from 8:15 am to 8:00 pm.
Additionally, an alert has been issued for fresh winds reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h and rough sea conditions in the Oman Sea, with waves expected to reach up to 6 feet offshore. This alert is active from 8:15 am to 9:00 pm.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), convective clouds may form towards the east, with a chance of rainfall. Low clouds are expected to appear over the east coast as well.
Temperatures in Abu Dhabi are forecasted to range between 32℃ and 44℃, while Dubai will see temperatures between 33℃ and 43℃. Humidity levels could reach up to 85 percent in coastal areas and islands, and drop to as low as 15 percent in mountainous regions.
