The UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) has introduced the Federal Government Procurement Procedures Guide and the Delegation of Authority Matrix, aiming to enhance efficiency, reduce bureaucracy, and drive sustainable government spending.
During a media briefing held in Dubai, MoF outlined the Government Procurement Law’s implementation and the latest legislative updates designed to optimize procurement processes across federal entities.

Aligned with the UAE’s “Year of Community“, the new framework integrates innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation into government procurement. The updated guide offers:
- A structured roadmap for procurement, ensuring compliance with transparency and integrity standards.
- Automated and cost-effective processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Clear governance measures to strengthen oversight and accountability.
H.E. Younis Haji AlKhoori, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, emphasized that these updates will foster fair competition, support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and contribute to the UAE’s sustainability goals.

The Federal Government Procurement Procedures Guide introduces:
