The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) and the Dubai Land Department (DLD) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen institutional alignment and streamline the delivery of real estate-linked residency services.
The agreement was formalised by Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA Dubai, and Omar Hamad Bu Shehab, Director-General of DLD.
Through this MoU, both entities aim to deepen collaboration by transferring and integrating three core real estate residency services—the Golden Residency, Retiree Residency, and Property Residency—into the GDRFA Dubai system.
This integration is set to offer customers a more cohesive and streamlined experience via a single platform, while enhancing system connectivity, facilitating data exchange, and improving the speed and efficiency of processes in line with high service standards.
Al Marri noted that the agreement underscores GDRFA Dubai’s focus on delivering seamless, integrated services that prioritise customer experience and contribute to an improved quality of life within a dynamic government framework.
Bu Shehab highlighted that the MoU represents a key step forward in fostering collaboration across government entities, while advancing real estate-related services, improving operational efficiency, and elevating overall customer satisfaction.
The agreement also promotes the adoption of digital solutions to enhance service delivery, strengthen investment appeal, and further position Dubai as a leading global hub for living and business, aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
