Dubai-based contractor Drake & Scull International has written off AED 4.18B ($1.1B) in financial and commercial debts and has started settling with other creditors after completing its restructuring requirements.

During its inaugural annual general meeting as a publicly listed entity, shareholders of E7 Group, the Abu Dhabi-based specialist printer and packer, have sanctioned a 1:10 division of the company’s shares.

Abu Dhabi has revealed its plan to prolong the exemption on charges in a bid to enhance tourism in the emirate.
