Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) and Singapore-based tech innovator SINGAUTO have signed a 50-year land lease agreement to establish a major smart logistics facility in KEZAD Area A (Al Ma’mourah). With a total investment of AED100 million, the new 100,000-square-metre facility will be dedicated to producing intelligent refrigerated vehicles, aiming to transform cold-chain logistics across the region.
By integrating SINGAUTO’s latest technologies, the site is designed to enhance efficiency and sustainability in temperature-controlled transport. In addition, the facility will launch with a core team of over 100 seasoned professionals, each bringing 15+ years of industry experience. This ensures that the plant will operate at international quality and safety standards from the outset.
Supporting Green Mobility and Logistics Growth
The strategic collaboration supports KEZAD’s ambition to become a central hub for sustainable automotive innovation. Commenting on the development, Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities and Free Zones, stated,
