Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Chinese Premier Li Qiang met to strengthen economic and strategic cooperation, as non-oil trade between the UAE and China reached approximately USD111 billion in 2025.
The meeting, held in Beijing during the Crown Prince’s official visit, focused on expanding collaboration across key sectors including investment, infrastructure, technology, and industrial development.
Both sides emphasised accelerating progress under the comprehensive strategic partnership, leveraging existing ties to support sustained, long-term economic growth.
Sheikh Khaled reiterated the UAE’s commitment to deepening bilateral engagement with China, particularly across economic and development priorities, while identifying new avenues for growth and enhancing supply chain resilience.
The discussions also highlighted the role of the UAE–China Business Promotion Conference, which convened investors and industry leaders to explore emerging partnership opportunities.
The engagement reflects both countries’ intent to strengthen their positioning within global trade networks amid shifting economic conditions.
