In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations, along with the Central Asian countries, commonly referred to as C5, for the 18th consultative gathering of GCC leaders.
Among the attendees was His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, who headed the delegation from the UAE.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said, “We look forward to working together to open new horizons to take advantage of the available opportunities for joint cooperation in all fields.”
He also spoke of continuing to build on the grouping’s strong economic and political relationship. “Our summit today is but an extension of these ties to establish a promising start based on our historical heritage, capabilities, human resources, and economic growth that contributed to the gross product of our countries reaching nearly $2.3T.”
