Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, attended the Dubai Future Forum 2024, which took place at the Museum of the Future from November 19 to 20. The event brought together over 2,500 participants and 150 influential speakers, including top government officials, business leaders, futurists, and academics. With a focus on global trends, the forum aims to provide strategic insights and guide nations in shaping their future.
The Dubai Future Forum, recognized as one of the world’s largest gatherings of futurists, featured 70 sessions on various topics such as foresight insights, transforming humanity, and optimising health. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized Dubai’s role in spearheading global innovation and future-oriented strategies, with a focus on collaboration across borders. He stressed the importance of connecting futurists, governments, and institutions to bridge knowledge gaps and develop international partnerships.
In addition to attending the forum, Sheikh Hamdan visited the Dubai Future Solutions exhibition, which showcased 100 innovative projects from around the globe, offering solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. The exhibition was part of an initiative to empower young thinkers and researchers. Additionally, Sheikh Hamdan met with graduates from various future-focused programs, including the FEEL Disruptive Futures Programme and the Dubai Future Experts Programme, highlighting Dubai’s commitment to nurturing talent and leadership for a sustainable future.
The event also featured workshops and thematic sessions on topics like the future of health and AI, demonstrating the forum’s dedication to exploring and addressing global issues through collaboration and forward-thinking solutions.
