Saudi Arabia reveals a fresh electronic visa for fans planning to attend the FIFA Club World Cup in the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with backing from the Ministry of Sports, will extend the electronic visa offer to individuals holding tickets for the significant sporting event scheduled to take place in Jeddah this month.
King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium in Jeddah will host the competition, marking the final FIFA Club World Cup in the current yearly format before transitioning to a 32-team version played every four years, commencing in June 2025.
Saudi Arabia Introduces New Electronic Visa
In a statement shared on social media, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, introduces a feature for the issuance of an electronic visa for ticket holders of the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
“This initiative aims to simplify travel procedures to the Kingdom for football enthusiasts attending the matches of the FIFA Club World Cup 2023 and ensure the most enjoyable experience for fans visiting the Kingdom to support their teams during the tournament amidst an exhilarating atmosphere.”
A fresh segment has emerged on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, providing an opportunity for ticket holders to request an electronic visa for entry into the Kingdom, according to Arabian Business.
Scheduled from December 12 to 22, the competition includes the participation of the following teams:
- Manchester City
- Flamengo
- Al-Ittihad
- Al Ahly
- Auckland City
- Club León
- Urawa Red Diamonds
