Phase One Investment and Operational Timeline
The first phase of the project will see an initial investment of $5 billion, with operations expected to commence by 2028. This AI data center will feature an integrated system for high-density computing, addressing key challenges posed by conventional data centers. Vishal Wanchoo, CEO of Oxagon, emphasized that the facility will strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role as a global AI leader and support the nation’s energy transition.
