To commemorate the inauguration of the new Parliament building, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Damodardas Modi has launched a fresh RS75 coin, which will be produced under the authority of the Central Government. This newly introduced coin features a circular design with a diameter measuring 44mm.
The obverse side of the coin displays the Lion Capitol of the Ashoka Pillar at its center, with the inscription “Satyameva Jayate” positioned below. On the left side, the word “Bharat” is written in Devanagari script, while on the right side, “INDIA” is inscribed in English.
On the reverse side of the coin, the image of the new Parliament building is showcased. The upper end bears the inscription “Sansad Sankul” in Devanagari script, while the lower end displays “Parliament Complex” in English. These coins are minted in accordance with the Coinage Act of 2011 by the Central Government.
