On Monday, gold prices continued their unprecedented surge, with spot gold rising by 0.3% to $2,335.73 per ounce as of 0646 GMT, following a peak of $2,353.79 earlier in the session.
Reuters reported that US gold futures increased by 0.4% to $2,354.50, according to WAM.
Meanwhile, spot silver saw a 1.1% increase to $27.77 per ounce, platinum inched up by 0.1% to $927.78, and palladium rose by 0.2% to $1,001.76.
