Etihad Airways, the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates, is soaring into summer with the exciting launch of eight new routes this June. This significant expansion brings their total network to a robust 76 destinations for the season, offering travelers a wider world to explore.
Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer at Etihad, said: “It is an exciting month for Etihad as we deliver on our plans to expand our network with eight additional locations. We are launching flights to three important sites — Bali, Jaipur, and Al Qassim — which we can see from our forward bookings are already proving popular with our guests. “At the same time, we’ve commenced operations to new seasonal destinations and returned to popular summer hotspots. We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests on board this summer and conveniently connecting more people to more places around the world.”
Seasonal Delights and Popular Returns
Etihad isn’t just adding new permanent routes; they’re also catering to summer wanderlust with seasonal offerings. This Eid holiday, they’ve taken flight to glamorous destinations like Nice on the French Riviera and Antalya on the Turkish Riviera. Additionally, they’ve rekindled connections with the beloved Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini.
Earlier in June, the popular Spanish resort city of Málaga welcomed back Etihad’s seasonal services. This week, they further expanded their Indian presence with direct flights to Jaipur, the “Pink City,” marking their 11th gateway in India.
Al Qassim and the Allure of Bali
The expansion doesn’t stop there. On June 24th, Etihad will launch a new service to Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia. This will be their fourth destination in the kingdom, offering travelers a chance to experience its rich culture, vibrant markets, and captivating date palm groves.
The 25th of June marks a truly special day for Etihad as they launch their inaugural flight to the dream destination of Bali, Indonesia. This direct gateway from the UAE will not only be a boon for island enthusiasts but also provide convenient connections from Europe, North America, and the GCC region.
Operating four times a week, Etihad will transport travelers to a quintessential tropical paradise. From pristine beaches and breathtaking rice paddies to immersive cultural experiences and serene escapes, Bali offers something for everyone.
With its network expansion, Etihad Airways is poised to connect more people to more places this summer. Whether you seek vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, or idyllic relaxation, Etihad offers the perfect gateway to embark on your unforgettable adventure.
