ENOC Group, a global leader in the energy sector, has taken a pioneering step by becoming the first company in the UAE’s energy industry to provide its employees with training in First Aid for Mental Health (FA4MH). This initiative is in line with the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033 and highlights the Group’s dedication to promoting a healthy, supportive workplace environment.
The five-day training program, led by Kes Smith-Green of KSG WELLNESS COACHING & TRAINING LTD, equipped 78 ENOC Retail executives with essential skills to address mental health challenges in the workplace. Based on the latest academic research, the course provided a U.K. Level 2 qualification regulated by Ofqual, further validating the training’s rigorous standards.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, emphasized the importance of employee wellbeing, saying: “We strongly believe that our employees are our greatest asset, and their wellbeing is fundamental to our success as a global integrated energy provider. At ENOC, we are dedicated to creating a workplace where mental health is prioritised and supported, aligning with Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, and our goal of raising awareness on making the workplace safe and healthy as well as fostering a culture of empathy and understanding within our Group.”
ENOC’s commitment to promoting mental health goes beyond just training. The Group hosted a special recognition ceremony to acknowledge the efforts of its employees and their dedication to ensuring a mentally healthy working environment. This initiative also supports ENOC’s broader objectives of enhancing social, health, and economic development initiatives that positively impact both employees and the community.
By offering mental health resources and support, ENOC continues to play a pivotal role in promoting mental health awareness in the workplace, setting a new standard for the energy sector across the region.
