New Aircraft to Enhance Passenger Experience on Key Routes
Emirates is set to introduce its Airbus A350 on flights to Kuwait and Bahrain, starting January 8, 2025. These two destinations will be the second and third to receive service from Emirates’ newest aircraft, following its recent deployment to other destinations.

- EK853: Departs Dubai at 0125hrs, arriving in Kuwait at 0215hrs.
- EK854: Departs Kuwait at 0340hrs, arriving in Dubai at 0625hrs.
- Bahrain:
- EK837/838:
- EK837 departs Dubai at 0820hrs, arriving in Bahrain at 0840hrs.
- EK838 departs Bahrain at 1000hrs, arriving back to Dubai at 1215hrs.
- EK839/840:
- EK839 departs Dubai at 1600hrs, arriving in Bahrain at 1620hrs.
- EK840 departs Bahrain at 1745hrs, arriving back to Dubai at 2000hrs.
- EK837/838:
Aircraft Features
The Airbus A350, with a three-class configuration, features 312 seats:
- 32 Business Class seats (1-2-1 layout)
- 21 Premium Economy seats (2-3-2 configuration)
- 259 Economy Class seats (3-3-3 arrangement)
Passengers can enjoy wider aisles, high ceilings, and new technology, offering a more spacious and comfortable experience. Additional features include faster Wi-Fi and an upgraded ice inflight entertainment system, providing a cinematic viewing experience.
Route History
Emirates has been serving Kuwait since 1989, currently operating 29 weekly flights. For Bahrain, the airline operates 22 weekly flights, with the Airbus A350 now adding to its fleet alongside Boeing 777 aircraft.
