Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi highlighted the strong and longstanding relationship between Egypt and the UAE, across all areas, during a meeting with the CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports, Mohamed Al Shamsi.
El-Sisi praised the UAE’s leadership under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and expressed his commitment to continue productive cooperation in various fields for the benefit of both nations, according to WAM.
The meeting also discussed the potential collaboration between AD Ports Group and Egypt in developing logistical areas and ports. Mohamed Al Shamsi expressed his enthusiasm to strengthen cooperation with Egypt and acknowledged the country’s progress in expanding and modernizing its infrastructure to become a regional and global logistical hub.
The UAE Ambassadress to Egypt, Mariam Khalifa Al Kaabi, and the Head of International Sector at Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Ahmad Al Mutawa, also attended the meeting.
