Ctrl Alt, a tokenisation infrastructure platform, has been granted a licence by Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), enabling it to operate as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP).
This approval makes Ctrl Alt the first VASP authorised to provide issuer-related services—an important development in its international growth and a reflection of its commitment to strong regulatory practices.
The VARA licence permits Ctrl Alt to conduct regulated activities, including Broker-Dealer and Issuer services under official oversight.
This is also the first instance where VARA has granted permission for Issuer services, marking a significant achievement for the platform.
The licence empowers Ctrl Alt to operate a fully integrated, regulation-compliant platform for the design, governance, and distribution of tokenised real-world assets and ARVA tokens.
A recent example of this capability is its collaboration with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) on a Real Estate Tokenisation Project, where Ctrl Alt created the framework for minting and managing real estate tokens on the blockchain.
Dubai has established itself as a global pioneer in digital innovation and asset tokenisation.
With forward-thinking regulations and a progressive strategic outlook, the emirate has reinforced its status as a centre for financial and digital transformation.
