Dubai Metro Red Line services between Al Khail Station and UAE Exchange Station experienced a disruption on Wednesday morning.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that services have resumed after a two-hour delay. The interruption, which began at 6:19 AM, affected many morning commuters. The RTA has not disclosed the cause of the disruption.
Commuter Impact and Response
During the disruption, alternative bus services were provided to bridge the affected stations. However, commuters reported significant delays and a lack of sufficient buses.
Many expressed their frustrations on social media, highlighting long queues and inadequate information from staff. The RTA has since confirmed that normal metro services have been restored.
