3,000 Participants to Address Global Challenges
The World Economic Forum (WEF) will commence its Annual Meeting tomorrow in Davos, Switzerland, with the theme “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age.” Running until January 24, the forum will gather 3,000 leaders from over 130 countries to tackle critical global and regional challenges.
Focus on Global Cooperation and Innovation
This year’s agenda will address pressing issues, including geopolitical shocks, strategies for inclusive growth, and a just energy transition. Discussions will centre around five pillars:
- Rebuilding Trust
- Reimagining Growth
- Investing in People
- Safeguarding the Planet
- Industries in the Intelligent Age
Key Participants and Insights
The forum will host 60 heads of state and government, including US President-elect Donald Trump, who will join via live video, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang.
Additionally, over 1,600 business leaders, 900 CEOs, and more than 120 global innovators will participate to foster dialogue and collaborative action.
