H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, attended the signing of multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between the Dubai Press Club and key partners supporting the next phase of the Dubai Content Creators Programme. This initiative seeks to equip young media professionals with essential creative and technical skills to produce high-quality digital content.
Sheikh Ahmed highlighted the significance of nurturing young talent to develop a dynamic digital media landscape in Dubai. He stressed the importance of cross-sector collaboration in showcasing the emirate’s achievements. “By empowering the next generation of content creators, we are fostering a media ecosystem that benefits the community and aligns with Dubai’s broader development strategy,” he stated.
He further noted Dubai’s commitment to a media sector driven by creativity, ensuring content aligns with the city’s future vision. He underscored the role of digital content in showcasing Dubai’s progress and ongoing transformation.
The MoUs were signed during the Emirati Media Retreat, organised by the Dubai Press Club, and attended by senior media figures. Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, signed the agreements with representatives of strategic partners.
Signatories included Helal Al Marri (Dubai DET) for Economic Content, Hala Badri (Dubai Culture) for Cultural Content, Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi (IACAD) for Community Content, Dr. Amer Sharif (Dubai Health) for Health and Scientific Content, and Khalfan Belhoul (Dubai Sports Council) for Sports Content.
Mona Al Marri acknowledged the partners’ contributions, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a creative media hub. She highlighted the success of the Economic Content Creators track and expressed commitment to expanding into key sectors.
Helal Al Marri emphasised the initiative’s role in amplifying Dubai’s identity through impactful storytelling, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to enhance the city’s global appeal.
