AD Ports Group reported revenues of AED 17.29 billion (USD 4.7 billion) in 2024, marking a 48 per cent increase from the previous year.
Net profit rose to a record AED 4.51 billion (USD 1.23 billion), reflecting a 69 per cent year-on-year growth.
The Group stated that all its vertically integrated business segments – ports, economic cities and free zones, maritime and shipping, logistics, and digital services – collectively contributed to the strong financial performance in 2024.
Since 2020, AD Ports has witnessed a five-fold increase in revenue, attributed to its “intelligent internationalisation” strategy, alongside significant domestic investments aimed at transforming Abu Dhabi into a global industrial and trade hub.
Chairman Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi noted that despite a year of geopolitical volatility and evolving trade dynamics, the Group delivered record outcomes by effectively navigating complex markets and embracing new international opportunities.
“We became a truly global entity in 2024, reaching new milestones in international footprint, financial strength, and market recognition,” he stated.
The 2024 annual report outlined the Group’s ongoing international expansion, including the consolidation of Noatum and Global Feeder Shipping (GFS), a Dubai-based regional container feeder firm. AD Ports also secured multipurpose terminal concessions and intermodal logistics facilities across high-growth trade corridors in Egypt, Pakistan, Angola, Tanzania, and Georgia.
Further strategic acquisitions were made across Africa, Europe, and Central Asia, extending the Group’s global ports and terminals network, with new concessions particularly in Egypt, Pakistan, and Angola.
To support its expanding international footprint, AD Ports restructured its global business operations under three unified brands – Noatum Ports, Noatum Maritime, and Noatum Logistics – reflecting its commitment to operational efficiency and global scalability.
